My name is Jamie Giblin and I am a junior Elementary Education major at Rowan University. I am originally from Robbinsville, NJ and still live there today. I have always wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. Both of my parents are educators along with some other distant family, so growing up that had a huge effect on me. From an early age I was always pretending to be a teacher with my stuffed animals and that passion never went away. I am most passionate about being myself through my writing. This is something that can be hard but I like to make sure that my work sounds like myself. I actually really enjoy doing writing in the form of blogs because I get to be myself and be creative with it. I do not have any major professional accomplishments yet as I am still working on my profession but I have been involved in the classroom a couple times already and have great experience for where I currently am with my major. I have had many personal accomplishments though that are still important for me to remember and not fall back into certain mindsets. Looking at the future, I am so excited to finally almost be at my goal that I have been working towards. Knowing what I wanted to do since before I could even remember is what help motivates me through school and make sure I get to that end goal.
